A clear statement against any form of discrimination and in favor of diversity was published by the WTS Board of Directors in May 2020, when a major discussion about racism took place worldwide following the murder of George Floyd, something which moved us greatly. The events once again highlighted what is often overlooked by the public: Many people suffer from prejudice and exclusion.
We have been greatly moved by the worldwide discussion on racism in recent weeks. The current developments, once again, illustrate what is often overlooked: Many people suffer from prejudice and exclusion. This attitude deeply contradicts our fundamental understanding of an appreciative cooperation, which we have firmly anchored in our compass of values. This is one of the reasons why we joined the UN Global Compact this year and have committed ourselves to its principles for human rights.
The uniqueness of all our employees is an absolute benefit for us. We see diversity and heterogeneity as an opportunity to constantly develop and grow together, and we are proud of the creativity and innovations that result from it. We treat all people with respect, understanding and recognition - regardless of gender, origin, skin colour, religion or sexual orientation.
