Litigation and disputes, audits and public consultations with the SRS. For almost 10 years, I worked on legal proceedings as a representative of the State Revenue Service, participating in significant and large-scale legal proceedings in the field of direct and indirect taxes before the Constitutional Court, the Supreme Court Senate and the Court of Justice of the European Union. For more than five years, I have supported auditors with important and extensive transfer pricing audits. I had the honor to lead the field of transfer pricing at the State Revenue Service starting from 2014 until 2019.

Legislative process and international representation. I have had the honor of participating in the development of the current transfer pricing regulation. I represented the Republic of Latvia on transfer pricing issues at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the European Union (EU) for more than five years.

Consulting. In the field of transfer pricing, I have for several years been helping international clients to manage transfer pricing risks internally and to establish good relations with the tax administrations of Latvia and other countries, including securing advance pricing agreements on conditions favorable to the client.

Education. For more than five years, I have been helping students at the International Business and Customs Institute of Riga Technical University to fall in love with the study process and with international tax law, and I have also participated in several OECD, World Bank and Intra-European Organisation of Tax Administrations (IOTA) conferences and seminars as a lecturer.
