Arjen Odems

I have over 20 years experience working in customs and international trade consulting with large consulting firms. My extensive international experience and passion for working with importing and exporting companies allows me to pragmatically deal with complex customs and international trade issues.

After finishing a tax law education at the University of Leiden in de Netherlands, I started my professional career with Deloitte in the Netherlands. Subsequently, I moved into an international role with Ernst & Young in London where I was the UK practise lead with overall responsibility for the global trade team leading various UK, EMEIA and global projects.

With the leadership roles I fulfilled, I have built an extensive experience in various industries, including consumer goods and retail, automotive, manufacturing, logistics, life sciences and telecommunications.

• Consulting on customs classification, customs valuation, origin determination, etc.
