Michael Ruth

As CFO and Managing Partner of WTS Germany, I worked hand in hand with Fritz Esterer, CEO, to build, manage and control the continuous and dynamic growth of the firm including its affiliates.

In my more than 30 year career, I have worked both as an advisor for finance projects as well as in managerial corporate functions for German multinational companies, such as Siemens AG, Infineon Technologies AG, TOPIX Business Software AG. The last corporate function I held was Corporate Vice President Reporting, Planning & Controlling at Infineon Technologies AG where I was responsible for the worldwide finance activities of the whole group.

My specialization lies with financial reporting, financial due diligence and M&A. I managed numerous due diligence projects for both buyers and sellers across a wide range of industries and assisted clients with the operational implementation of transactions. I was responsible for various reorganizations both in Germany and abroad.

In September 2020, I was elected as board member of WTS Global to act as a financial advisor and controller for the continuously growing tax practice. My role is to ensure that the organizational governance is sustainable on a long-term basis.
