Dr. Sabine Schulte-Beckhausen advises industrial customers, energy suppliers, banks, financial investors and the public sector on national and European energy law issues since more than 20 years. This includes energy contracts, legal issues regarding energy trading including emissions trading, renewable energy generation, and energy and electricity tax law. Recently she focuses on the regulatory framework for the energy transition, i.e. the marketing of energy storage facilities and e-mobility.
Before joining WTS Dr. Sabine Schulte-Beckhausen was a salary partner with an international law firm from 2008 bis 2017. Before she was part of the Sal. Oppenheim investment banking team "energy/public sector" from 2001-2007, and expert for EU law and energy trading at the German Association of Municipal Utilities (VKU)from 1994-2001.
Dr. Sabine Schulte-Beckhausen is a guest lecturer for energy law at the University of Applied Sciences HRW (Muelheim/Ruhr).
