WTS advises Fiber Experts on the acquisition of Elecnet GmbH

WTS, a global full-service provider of tax advisory and financial & deal advisory services, has advised Fiber Experts Deutschland GmbH ("FED" for short), a construction company specialized in the expansion of broadband networks, on the tax aspects of its acquisition of Eschborns´ Elecnet GmbH.

Since FED was founded in June 2021, the Düsseldorf-based company has focused on the expansion of broadband networks in the telecommunications market and offers customized turnkey solutions in the field of fiber optics, area analysis, network planning and implementation throughout Germany.

As part of a share deal, all shares in Elecnet GmbH, whose business focus is also on the construction of fiber optic networks, have now been acquired. The acquisition fits perfectly into the consulting portfolio and FED can continue its consistent growth course.

A WTS team specialized in M&A deals led by Axel Wagner (Project Lead) supported the transaction with tax due diligence and was responsible for tax SPA advice as well as structuring advisory services.
