WTS Advisory is broadening its service portfolio with the addition of a new Digital Process Automation division. The advisory division is being set up by the new partner Markus Spieleder, who will be joined by 25 other employees changing to WTS Advisory by the end of this year. The team will advise companies on the automation of financial and tax processes.
Markus Spieleder joins WTS from KPMG, where he held various managerial positions at international level from 2018. Most recently, he headed the "Processes & Systems" division. Other stages of his career were spent at PwC, the strategy consultancy Mummert Consulting, as well as Pegasystems, the leading software service provider for process automation.
Markus Spieleder's expertise is in the automation of business processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness. In recent years, he has advised numerous multinational corporations on their procedural, technological and organisational transformation whilst also automating processes in the fields of sales, operations & finance.
At WTS Advisory, Markus Spieleder and his team will focus on the automation of end-to-end processes in the fields of accounting, tax and compliance. The solutions will be offered not only within companies' own infrastructures, but will also be provided as a "Business Process as a Service" (BPaaS).
"With Markus Spieleder, we are consistently expanding our highly technology-driven service portfolio. This means that we already have one of the most high-profile teams for business process automation on the market, which underpins our claim to becoming the leading boutique financial services provider in Germany. In addition to record-to-report, purchase-to-pay and order-to-cash, the team also specialises in tax processes. Markus Spieleder and his team are a great asset to the whole WTS Group," explains Dieter Becker, Board Spokesman of WTS Advisory.
"In addition to classic digital process automation advisory, another prime focus at WTS Advisory will be on business process outsourcing via a cloud service model. For our clients, this means greater flexibility, improved cost efficiency and better scalability of resources," comments Markus Spieleder. "The automation potential of business processes is huge, especially for financial and tax functions. I am therefore very pleased to be able to contribute our specialist expertise to WTS Advisory and the whole WTS Group in future."
"The further development of WTS Advisory is in full swing. This year, we have already been able to attract many high-calibre newcomers to this division and are now very pleased to be able to push its expansion forward once again with Markus Spieleder and his team. The expansion of our advisory portfolio to include digital process automation goes hand in hand with the further internationalisation of WTS Advisory. After all, very few business processes of multinational companies are automated within national borders only. I would like to extend a warm welcome to Markus Spieleder and his team," comments Fritz Esterer, CEO of the WTS Group.
