In most companies, women are unfortunately still underrepresented in leadership positions and as a result a lot of valuable work is lost. Therefore, it is clear: The topic "women in leadership positions" and the visibility of women needs more attention - we are aware of this!
We can only agree with this statement by Ulrike Schellert. We are also firmly convinced that diverse project/work groups are more successful than uniform ones and make even better decisions.
Many studies show that companies characterized by a high degree of diversity have a greater probability of being more profitable than average. Diversity and inclusion are therefore much more than a nice-to-have. They are decisive factors for our joint success in the market.
With our open and appreciative corporate culture, in which diversity and equality have always been and still are an essential topic, we have now deliberately given this important topic of equality and visibility of women a stage and launched the NOW@WTS (NOW = Network of Women) initiative.
One of our most important tasks is to create more transparency and enable greater exchange. We therefore offer our employees various communication platforms, organize special events and seminars, and have developed a tailored mentoring program. We provide continuous and transparent information on current developments in the area of women's advancement and diversity.
We have set ourselves the goal of significantly increasing the number of women in the partnership and in the circle of directors. By 2030, we want to achieve a balanced ratio of women and men in management positions.
However, the focus is not on a "quota" itself but always on the success of WTS!
